My fascination with collage, pattern and textures has brought about my current work in the form of these abstract collages .

I paint most of the papers used by hand, stencilling, printing, splattering and getting very messy in the process! Most days my studio looks like a tornado swept through it. Then the process of beginning the layering of elements begins. Composition, considerations about colour, shape, texture are all taken into account. It's an incredibly soothing, fun process. I hope that what I have created can evoke a response form you, the viewer. That is the beauty of abstract work: it can mean whatever you want it to and become your own story.
